Legal Notes
For those stockpiling defenses for possible
future needs, recent news indicates might do
well to bypass these two:
The Svengali Defense:
My brother made me do it.
Might work when you’re younger than ten, but
sure doesn’t play in Boston.
He Said He Was Separated From His Wife . . .
. . .so those gifts were not community property.
Really? Trying to use that to hang on to the Ferrari?
And the duplex? And the Bentley? And the Range
Rover?
Might work in a dimly lit bar of wherever, but
doesn’t hold up to the light of day in a courtroom.
Who would even try these?
WTF is that?

Not that there aren’t times these could be
legitimate defenses. Just not on these two.
