Played a voicemail from an old friend, been too long, let’s catch up, and
a reminder: This is my number.
When the number is dialed, a flatlined voice with an echo announces:
Your call is not accepted by this person.
Whaaat!?!
A small button mistakenly pushed on the latest screening gizmo?
Wires crossed by AT&T, Time Warner or the NSA?
Or the new normal in passive/aggressive?
